FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you play.
How many people can play at once?
Zero Latency VR has a minimum of 1 player and a max of 6 players. For larger groups, book back-to-back sessions. Unless all 6 spaces are booked, players may join others in the same session time.
What should I wear?
The experiences are active. Wear light, comfortable clothes and appropriate footwear. High heels are not allowed on the Zero Latency arena.
Can I wear my glasses?
You can wear glasses if they do not have a large frame. Contact lenses are recommended because large frames may not fit between the eyes and VR lenses.
What age can play?
Zero Latency VR Grand Rapids requires all players to be 13+ years to play. Anyone between 13-15 should play with a supervising adult. Children under 18 need a guardian-signed waiver. Players must be at least 130cm.
Who can and can't play?
Players under the influence of alcohol or drugs cannot play. Players must be able to walk unassisted for a half hour with full use of both hands. Some medical conditions or impairments, including epilepsy and similar seizure disorders, severe hearing loss, broken limbs, or wheelchair use, may prevent play for safety reasons.
Can this experience cause motion sickness?
Our free roam arena offers a cutting edge immersion system that keeps up with the exact movement of your head while you move. Being able to walk around the virtual world prevents your brain from that sea-sickness type of feeling because your brain isn't tricked into thinking its moving; its actually moving!
Will I walk into a wall?
In-game safety mechanisms and a Game Master help prevent that. You receive a safety briefing, and you can see the walls, other players, and their avatars in-game.
